[MLS]Chivas USA signed Cesar Zamora, an 18-year-old midfielder from Sylmar, Calif., and a product of the Chivas USA youth program, to a Developmental Contract. Zamora is the third player the club has promoted to the first team roster from its youth ranks.

Zamora, an outside midfielder, played with the Chivas USA U-18 team during the past two seasons in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

Two other Southern California products have moved up from Chivas USA's youth teams: Gerson Mayen (Los Angeles, Calif.) and Jorge Flores (Anaheim, Calif.).
