The defending U.S. Youth Soccer national champion NJSA Gunners 04, coached by Tab Ramos, fell to PDA Ronaldo, 1-0, in the final of the New Jersey State Cup under-15 boys competition.

The Gunners, who will join the U.S. Soccer Academy next season, had won three straight state cups, beating PDA in the fall 2007 U-14 final and 2006 U-13 semifinals.

NJSA 04 will be back at the Region I championships in the U-14 division as the United won the state final last fall.

The YMS Xplosion gained revenge for its 2-0 loss to U.S. Youth Soccer National League champion YMS Xplosion in their deciding game by beating the Xplosion by the same score in the Eastern Pennsylvania U-17 boys final.
