The Dallas Texans Red and Dallas Texans Red Dallas, last year's U.S. Youth Soccer national champions in the under-16 and under-15 age groups, won their respective age groups at the North Texas State Cup.

They were among 10 Texans boys and girls teams to win North Texas state championships.

The big surprise in the North Texas girls finals was the victory by Fort Worth FC, coached by TCU head coach Dan Abdalla, over the Texans in the U-15 age group.
