[MLS PREDICTION] MLS has scheduled another nine-match slate of games despite this being a FIFA international double-fixture week, with the action kicking off Thursday at RFK Stadium, where D.C. United welcomes longtime rival (but seldom equal) New York.

THURSDAY
D.C. UNITED (3-2-7) vs. NEW YORK (2-7-3), 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2/ESPN Deportes

United comes back home stung by a 2-1 road loss to the Revs last weekend during which it hit the woodwork three times and surrendered a last-minute goal to a hotly disputed yet legitimate - Brian Carroll jerked Taylor Twellman's sleeve not once but twice - penalty kick. New York is 0-4-1 on the road in league games and lost to D.C., 3-2, at home April 26. So it goes.
Prediction: United 3, Red Bulls 1.

PREDICTION REVIEW

Last week:
3-6. Season: 37-47.
