The U.S. under-16 boys national team captured third place at the Ballymena International Tournament in Northern Ireland with a 5-1 win over Israel on Friday.

The Americans, coached by Brian Maisonneuve, broke the Larne Plate final open with three goals in five minutes in the first half. Ryan Finley scored twice on assists by Cooper Barham and Ben Speas, who scored the third goal on an assist by Zarek Valentin. Californians Amobi Okugo and Eder Arreola scored four minutes apart in the second half.
