[MLS NAMES & NUMBERS] The Los Angeles Galaxy continued its SuperClasico dominance over Chivas USA. Seattle's Freddy Montero came with in one-goal of the league scoring lead. Toronto FC benefitted from Chad Barrett's rejuvenation.

FREDY MONTERO. The 21-year-old Colombian scored his ninth goal of the season in Seattle's 2-1 home win over Houston in front of 32,404 fans. Montero's shot was cleared by the Dynamo's Mike Chabala but was ruled to have crossed the line. [VIDEO] Pat Ianni hit the winner with a close-range bicycle kick. [VIDEO]

0. Two of the weekend's ended in scoreless ties: New England-Kansas City and Columbus-Chicago. MLS this season is averaging 2.54 goals per game.

EDSON BUDDLE. After scoring 15 goals in the 2008 season, the Galaxy striker has struggled in 2009. But his third goal of the year, a header of A.J. DeLaGarza's cross, gave Los Angeles a 1-0 win in the SuperClasico with Home Depot co-tenant Chivas USA in front of 23,409 fans. Of their 17 regular-season encounters, Chivas USA has only three wins.

5. Toronto FC broke a five-game road losing streak with a 3-1 win over San Jose. Beleaguered striker Chad Barrett, who had only two goals and two assists in 15 starts entering the game, scored twice and notched an assist.

KOSUKE KIMURA. The Japanese defender's close-range goal - his second since joining MLS in 2007 - was the difference in Colorado's 1-0 win over Dallas. VIDEO .
