CUAUHTEMOC BLANCO. The Mexican star came off the bench and set up a Patrick Nyarko goal before scoring a beauty of his own - with a delicate chip -- for a 2-0 Chicago Fire win over San Jose in front of 14,228 fans at Toyota Park. VIDEO 

18. Defending champ Columbus Crew extended its home undefeated streak to 18 games -- and is now a game away from the league record - thanks to a 3-1 win over Real Salt Lake a goal by Steven Lenhart and two strikes by Jason Garey in front of 12,922 fans.

The Houston defender scored his first goal of the season to give the Dynamo a 1-1 tie at Toronto in front of 20,172 to keep his team in the overall league lead.

10. The Colorado Rapids have yet to win at D.C. United in a decade after the host downed them 3-1 with goals by Jaime Moreno, Bryan Namoff and Luciano Emilio. Christian Gomez assisted on two of the goals. Namoff's goal came after he gifted the Rapids an own goal. VIDEO

SHALRIE JOSEPH. The New England midfielder returned from injury and sparked a 2-0 win over Chivas USA by helping set up goals by Kheli Dube and Steve Ralston. It was the Revs' first win since June 7.
