Jason Garey headed home the winner in the 92nd minute, two minutes into four minutes of stoppage time, to give the Crew a 3-2 victory over Toronto FC in Columbus Crew Stadium. "That's why you play the game, for moments like that," Garey said after scoring his third goal in the past two games.

Garey's goal, off an inviting cross from Frankie Hejduk, had lots of implications. It gave the Crew three points, pushing it past the Chicago Fire and into first place in the Eastern Conference; it secured the MLS record for the longest home unbeaten streak (19), as the Crew hasn't lost at home since June 2008; and it gave the Crew the Trillium Cup, awarded for the winner of the season series between Columbus and Toronto.

Dwayne De Rosario and Ali Gerba scored for Toronto FC (7-7-5). Eddie Gaven and Steven Lenhart also struck for the Crew, which took a 1-0 lead before falling behind 2-1. Lenhart tied the score at two in the 76th minute. Garey and Lenhart are enjoying their time on the field while replacing injured starters Guillermo Barros Schelotto and Alejandro Moreno. They've combined for five goals in two games.
