[AMERICANS ABROAD] Striker Kenny Cooper
scored 17 minutes into his debut with German Second Division club 1860 Munich,
which opened the season with a 2-0 win over TuS Koblenz. "The Ami was simply
Super," according to German daily

Cooper, who was subbed in the 72nd minute, managed eight shots on goal, the
successful one coming when he headed home a cross from Florin Lovin.
Cooper, who arrived from FC Dallas, received high praise from teammates. "An extraordinary
debut," said keeper Gabor Kiraly. "Impressive how hard Kenny works," said
captain Benny Lauth, who scored the team's second goal in the 62nd
minute.
