Playing without two key players, the USA tied Colombia twice (1-1 and 2-2) in a pair of tuneups played in Lauderhill, Fla., for this fall's Under-17 Men's World Cup in Nigeria.

Midfielder Luis Gil, who has been targeted by English club Arsenal, scored in the first game, and Juan Agudelo and Alex Shinsky scored in the second game.

The USA was playing without two key starters. Playmaker Sebastian Lletget joined West Ham United's academy program, and Stefan Jerome was ill.
