Eric Ramirez-Avila, who played this past season in the Indiana Premier League with the Southern Indiana Fusion, will leave Sunday for a three-month stint with Rosario Central's youth division team in Argentina.

Ramirez-Avila has played with the Vincennes Youth Soccer Association travel club since he was 8. The U-14 Fusion finished third in the Premier League. He scored five goals in the Indiana State Cup round robin.

Hugo Galloni, the director of the youth teams for Rosario Central, saw Ramirez-Avila play during a one-week camp he directed at the local high school in Vincennes.

Rosario Central will host Ramirez-Avila in the team's "pension" or hotel for youth players that live too far away from the training grounds.

He will attend school in Rosario while training daily with the '95 age group team and will either be incorporated into the '95 age group team for Rosario Central or will play with the youth team Rosario Botafogo.
