Keeper David Yeldell and Koblenz went down, 2-0, against Energie Cottbus.

MEXICO. Edgar Castillo scored Tigres' second goal in a 2-2 tie with 25-yard volley. ... Midfielder Jose Francisco Torres, who is in Coach Bob Bradley's squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers, went the full 90 and impressed in Pachuca's 2-2 tie at Guadalajara. ... Defender Michael Orozco went the distance for San Luis in its scoreless tie with Puebla. ...Marco Vidal went 90 minutes for Indios in its 1-1 with Atlas.

ITALY. Oguchi Onyewu stayed on the AC Milan bench during its 4-0 loss to Inter Milan.
