[AMERICANS ABROAD] Edgar Castillo, the Mexican-American left back who is eying a call-up by the U.S. national team, scored for Tigres with a 25-yard volley. ENGLAND. Tim Howard made a key save late in the game to preserve Everton's lead over Wigan in a 2-1 win. ... Jozy Altidore played the final 27 minutes in Hull City's 1-1 tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers. ... Eddie Johnson came off the Fulham bench with 14 minutes left in a 2-0 loss at Aston Villa. Clint Dempsey played the full 90 for Fulham and barely missed on a 25-yard shot, while keeper Brad Friedel got the shutout for Aston Villa. ... Jonathan Spector went the full 90 minutes for West Ham in a 0-0 tie with Blackburn Rovers.

FRANCE. Charlie Davies played 85 minutes and drew the penalty kick on which Sochaux got its goal for in a 1-0 win over Monaco. ... Carlos Bocanegra played 90 minutes for Rennes in a 2-2 tie with Lens.

GERMANY. Michael Bradley was left out of the Borussia Moenchengladbach squad with Coach Michael Frontzeck saying the midfielder needed an attitude adjustment. Gladbach beat Mainz, 2-0. ... Steve Cherundolo played 90 minutes for Hannover 96, which lost, 1-0, to Hoffenheim. ... In the second division, Kenny Cooper failed to get his third goal since joining 1860 Munich, which played a scoreless stalemate with Ahlen on Friday. ... Keeper David Yeldell and Koblenz went down, 2-0, against Energie Cottbus.

MEXICO. Edgar Castillo scored Tigres' second goal in a 2-2 tie with 25-yard volley. ... Midfielder Jose Francisco Torres, who is in Coach Bob Bradley's squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers, went the full 90 and impressed in Pachuca's 2-2 tie at Guadalajara. ... Defender Michael Orozco went the distance for San Luis in its scoreless tie with Puebla. ...Marco Vidal went 90 minutes for Indios in its 1-1 with Atlas.

ITALY. Oguchi Onyewu stayed on the AC Milan bench during its 4-0 loss to Inter Milan.

DENMARK. Midfielder Benny Feilhaber played the first 70 minutes of AGF Aarhus' 2-0 win over FC Nordsjaelland while Jeremiah White played 61 minutes for Aarhus. Michael Parkhurst played the full game for Nordsjaelland.

NORWAY. Keeper Troy Perkins celebrated a 2-1 win with Valerenga over Molde. ... Defender Clarence Goodson played 90 minutes and was yellow-carded in IK Start's 1-0 loss to Brann.
