Chivas Guadalajara beat Chivas USA, 2-0, on Wednesday night in a friendly attended by 22,879 at the Rose Bowl. Guadalajara's Omar Arellano netted two goals in a five-minute span, the first coming in the 74th minute from a Sergio Avila cross. The second came on a breakaway in the 79th minute. Arellano beat defender Claudio Suarez and stroked home an eight-yard shot over goalkeeper Jon Conway's shoulder.

Conway played his first game for Chivas USA since the team acquired him from New York on Sept. 11. It was the first time the two teams have faced off. Read the original story...
