Texas SC DTH, the product of the merger of the Texas Soccer Club (TSC Texans) and Dallas Texans Houston Division academy programs, is off to a great start in the 2009-10 U.S. Soccer Development Academy. The U-17/18s are in first place in the Texas Division with a pair of wins and the U/15-16s are tied with Andromeda for the top spot with a win and tie.

The U-17/18s got a goal from Mark Wagih Gendi in a 1-0 victory over Solar SC and goals from Marcos Escobar and Anderson McDaniel in a 2-0 win over the Dallas Texans.

The U-15/16s beat Solar, 2-1, and tie the Dallas Texans, 1-1. Leonardo Vazquez, a sophomore at South Houston High School, leads them with two goals.

(The Dallas Texans took their name from the TSC Texans -- not the reserve. The Houston Texans were one of the first big travel programs in the Southwest.)
