The U.S. under-17 national team beat Chelsea's academy team, 3-1, at Chelsea's training ground in Cobham in the first match during its stay in England. In the second match, the U.S. U-17s downed Gambia's U-17s, 2-0.

The U.S. under-17 national team beat Chelsea's academy team, 3-1, at Chelsea's training ground in Cobham in the first match during its stay in England.

Coach Wilmer Cabrera used different lineups in each half. Chelsea fielded some of its top youth prospects, including players from Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Sweden, Austria and Slovenia.

In the second match, the U.S. U-17s downed Gambia's U-17s, 2-0.

They close out their stay with a game against Arsenal's academy team on Wednesday.
