Los Angeles and Houston advance to Western final

[MLS] Both games drew large crowds, and their outcomes weren't decided until late, but when the dust settled Los Angeles and Houston advanced to MLS's Western Conference final.

Brian Ching's goal early in overtime was the only goal in the two games of the Dynamo's series with expansion Seattle and gave Houston its first win over the Sounders in five meetings in 2009.

The game drew 27,465 fans, the largest crowd of the week.

Fellow U.S. national team member Landon Donovan converted a penalty kick in the 73rd minute to give the Galaxy a 1-0 win over Chivas before a sellout crowd of 27,000 and a 3-2 aggregate win.
