[AMERICANS ABROAD] Edgar Castillo eluded five foes before stroking home Tigres' fourth goal in a 4-0 win over Atlante. Clint Dempsey struck from the spot, after drawing the penalty kick, for Fulham in a 1-1 tie with Wigan. It was Dempsey's third EPL goal in three games. In Scotland, DaMarcus Beasley saw his first league action of the season.

Castillo, who is set to make his U.S. debut after being called in by Coach Bob Bradley for friendies at Slovakia Nov. 14 and at Denmark Nov. 18, plays wide left in Tigres midfield. It was his second goal of the Apertura 2009 season.



Dempsey, who didn't score his first goal of the season until late October, now has now struck thrice during the Cottagers' five-game undefeated streak. Dempsey also forced a superb save from Wigan keeper Chris Kirkland off a free kick.

Also in England, Everton keeper Tim Howard celebrated a 2-1 win over West Ham, whose Jonathan Spector played 90 minutes. Jozy Altidore saw 83 minutes of action in Hull City's 2-1 win over Stoke City. The win moved Hull out of the relegation zone. Altidore shot wide on a decent chance. Keeper Brad Friedel helped Aston Villa beat Bolton, 5-1.

In the FA Cup, Mike Grella scored during his four-minute appearance for third-tier Leeds in a 2-0 win over Oldham.

In Scotland, DaMarcus Beasley saw his first league action of the year, playing 45 minutes for Glasgow Rangers and helping set up the gamewinner in a 2-1 victory over St. Mirren.

In Germany, Michael Bradley and Steve Cherundolo went 90 minutes for Borussia Moenchengladbach and Hannover 96, respectively. Gladbach tied VfB Stuttgart, 0-0, and Hannover tied Hamburg SV, 2-2.

In France, Bocanegra played 66 minutes for Rennes in a 3-2 loss to Toulouse.

U.S. national team midfield Jose Francisco Torres went the distance for Pachuca as its playoff evaporated with a 3-0 to Toluca. Indio's Marco Vidal played 70 minutes and was cautioned in a 1-0 loss to Chiapas.
