[NCAA DIVISION III MEN] Trinity (Texas), Ohio Wesleyan and Montclair State all had first-round byes in the NCAA Division III Men's Tournament but fell in the second round.

Hardin-Simmons upset second-ranked Trinity, 2-0, on Sunday evening. Chris O'Brien and Isaiah Hicks scored on late goals with the Cowboys' only shots on goal. The Tigers had previously won at least one game in each NCAA playoff appearance, except for the 1997 season.

Transylvania beat Ohio Wesleyan 1-0, on a late goal when Jason Fairless' corner kick went off a Bishop defender and just under the crossbar.

Montclair State fell to Stevens Institute, 4-0 on Sunday. The Ducks, the 2008 NCAA runners-up, handed MSU its first home loss in over four years. Senior Terrence Johnson led Stevens with two goals and an assist.
