Bunbury follows in Zakuani's footsteps

[LEADING SCORERS] A year after Akron's Steve Zakuani won the national scoring title, another Zip sophomore, Teal Bunbury, is in line to win the Division I goal-scoring crown. Bunbury is tied with Adelphi's French freshman, Issa Tall, for the national scoring lead with 16 goals.

Besides Bunbury, the son of former Canada international Alex Bunbury, the only players in the top 10 who will be playing in the NCAA Tournament are Matt Eliason (Northwestern),  JC Banks (Green Bay) and Matthew Skonicki (Winthrop), all tied for seventh with 13 goals.
