Robbers strike during championship
[OFF THE POST] A cash delivery firm in Sao Paulo was robbed of $5.7 million by thieves who took advantage of the fact that all eyes were on the final games of the Brazilian championship. Police believe the crooks tunneled into the building and waited until Sunday afternoon to break in. The security guard who heard loud noises said he figured they were from fireworks set by excited fans, reported Reuters.
Flamengo won the title, its first in 17 years, thanks to a 2-1 victory over Gremio.
