The roster includes UCLA forward Sydney Leroux, the only holdover from the U.S. team that won the 2009 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Chile. Leroux won the Golden Ball as the best player in that tournament and scored 23 goals for the Bruins this season.

Five high school players -- defender Crystal Dunn, midfielders Elizabeth Eddy, Samantha Mewis and Jenna Richmond and forward Maya Hayes -- were among the players Coach Jillian Ellis called up.

U.S. U-20 Roster:
GOALKEEPERS: Tara Campbell (Duke), Adrianna Franch (Oklahoma State), Taylor Vancil (Louisville)
DEFENDERS: Cloee Colohan (Portland), Vicki DiMartino (Boston College), Crystal Dunn (Albertson SC), Kendall Johnson (Portland), Rachel Quon (Stanford)
MIDFIELDERS: Amber Brooks (North Carolina), Charney Burk (Portland), Zakiya Bywaters (UCLA), Elizabeth Eddy (So Cal Blues), Katy Frierson (Auburn), Kristie Mewis (Boston College), Samantha Mewis (Scorpion SC), Mariah Nogueira (Stanford), Jenna Richmond (McLean SC), Casey Short (Florida State)
FORWARDS: Maya Hayes (Aristics Club), Sydney Leroux (UCLA), Tiffany McCarty (Florida State), Toni Pressley (Florida State).
