[AMERICANS ABROAD] DaMarcus Beasley has been on fire since saying he wanted to leave Glasgow Rangers to get more playing time. In his third straight start, three days after notching two assists, Beasley scored with a curving left foot shot from the corner of the penalty area. It was Rangers' first goal in a 3-0 win over Dundee United on Tuesday.

Beasley, a veteran of two World Cups, is trying to earn his way back into the U.S. squad for South Africa 2010.

Against Dundee United, he also set up Kenneth Miller for a goal and broke up a Dundee United scoring chance with a header after which he was kicked in the face by Dundee United's Darren Dods. Beasley recovered after treatment and lasted until the 83rd minute.
