[AMERICANS ABROAD] Most Americans head across the Atlantic to pursue their soccer dreams abroad. Defender Taylor Hyde of the PDL's Kitsap Pumas head south to Bolivia, where he signed with La Paz FC on a one-year loan, becoming the third American to sign with the First Division club.

Hyde, a native of Sandy, Utah, attended the University of Puget Sound, before joining Kitsap, which debuted in the PDL in 2009.

Hyde, who started 14 of 16 matches, is headed back to La Paz to begin training for the Apertura championship, the first half of the Bolivia season. Kitsap teammates Max Lipset and Leon Abravanel also trained at La Paz FC on a recent trip to Bolivia.

Americans Kyle Zenoni and Sergio Flores, who was briefly at Real Salt Lake, have also played for La Paz FC.
