Donovan headed to Everton

Landon Donovan's loan deal to Everton was confirmed on Friday as the EPL club announced that, pending approval of a work permit, the 27-year-old American would be headed to Goodison Park on a three-month loan.

"It's all done now," David Moyes, the Everton manager, said. "Landon will join us at the start of January. He will come in and add pace, he's a good finisher and is captain of the USA national team so he has that experience. He is the first of two or three players I want to bring in in January."
