[BOYS U-15 SHOWCASE] John Harkes' Herndon Real Juniors opened play at the Under-15 Boys Showcase action at Disney's Soccer Showcase with a 2-1 win over Team Boca White.

Harkes' son, Ian, is among the players on the Real Juniors, who were Virginia state semifinalists this fall.

CASL Elite, the 2009 runner-up in its age group at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships, opened with a 1-0 win over Blue Valley SC Stars Boca Juniors.
