Texans clinch berth in National Championships

[GIRLS NATIONAL LEAGUE] The first-place Dallas Texans Red Dallas improved to 5-0-1 in the U.S. Youth Soccer National League's under-15 age group at Disney's Soccer Showcase with a 2-0 victory over Sockers FC Chicago on Friday to clinch a berth in the 2010 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships.

Sophie Groff scored off of a corner kick, and Jasmine Hart added a goal with a 25-yard blast.
 
The Scorpions Elite followed up on their 5-0 victory with an 8-0 win over the NSA Premier Fireballs. Lauren Berman had a hat trick in the gamine's first 34 minutes for the Massachusetts team.

The U-16 National League leaders, the Dallas Texans and NSA Premier Fury, played to a 1-1 draw.
