Edu's Rangers gains valuable point in Old Firm derby

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Maurice Edu came on in the 13th minute of Ranger's Old Firm match at Celtic and helped the Scottish Premier League leader earn a 1-1 tie that kept them seven points ahead of its Glasgow rival (with one more game played). The injured DaMarcus Beasley did not suit up for Rangers.

Edu was called into action when midfielder Nacho Novo was injured. It was only the second appearance of the season for the former Toronto FC player after returning from a knee injury suffered on the final day of the 2009-10 season.

Lee McCulloch's goal in the 81st minute canceled out a goal from Scott McDonald two minutes earlier.

Celtic dominated the game at Parkhead but was compromised by poor finishing.
