"It was the goalkeeper (who suffered) ... also at the corner kicks, Dario Vidosic was taking the corner kicks and they were pushing a laser on his face."

-- Australian coach Pim Verbeek, who complained to officials after several of his players appeared to have laser pointers shone in their eyes by Kuwait fans during Wednesday's 2011 Asian Cup qualifying game. The game ended in a 2-2 tie after the Socceroos took a 2-0 lead. Verbeek said goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic and midfielder Dario Vidosic were the main targets distracted by the glaring beams of light during the game in Kuwait City. (Reuters)
