[SPAIN] Cristiano Ronaldo scored both of Real Madrid's goals in a 2-0 win over Malaga before being red-carded for breaking Patrick Mtiliga's nose. Ronaldo said he did not intentionally strike the defender and apologized.

"People who understand soccer know that my intention is always to try and play," Ronaldo said. "The red card is a disgrace I don't understand it. I've been down to the Malaga locker room to apologize and he understood the situation. I know you saw blood on the TV screens but I was just trying to break free. I never try to hurt anyone."
