[COPA CHIVAS] Victor Chavez's goal in the 62nd minute gave the U.S. U-19 national team a 1-1 tie with Atlas of Mexico at the Copa Chivas in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Tuesday.

The two MLS entrants both lost -- Houston Dynamo fell to Monterrey, 4-0, and Chivas USA lost to Universidad Catolica of Chile, 3-2.

The three U.S. entrants have a combined record of one win, three ties and eight losses in 12 games.

The U.S. U-19s tied Brazil and lost to Pachuca and Tigres. The lone win for the American teams came when Chivas USA defeated Tokyo FC.

Group play at the 18-team tournament concludes on Wednesday.
