[AMERICANS ABROAD] Rangers midfielder DaMarcus Beasley had his BMW set ablaze on Monday night in an attack Glasgow police was treating as "willful fireraising."The Sun reported that Beasley was in his home when he heard screeching tires, then looked out his window to see his car in flames.
Police do not believe there was any racial or sectarian -- Rangers has strong ties to Glasgow's Protestant community -- motivation to the attack. Beasley's car was the only one on the street.
It isn't the first time Beasley, who is currently sidelined, had his car attacked.
In late 2008, his BMW was broken into and ransacked outside his home, the latest in a series of incidents in which Rangers players had their cars vandalized.
