[FIFA] The U.S. men's national team remained at No. 14 -- the highest ranked Concacaf team -- and Mexico is still No. 17 in the latest FIFA's world rankings. 2008 European champion Spain held on to the No. 1 spot, followed by Brazil (2) and the Netherlands (3). Winning its third straight Africa Cup of Nations title last week lifted Egypt 14 places to No. 10 and as Croatia moved down to No. 11.
Egypt is now the second African nation to crack the Top 10 after Nigeria 1994 and 2006.
The USA's 2010 World Cup opponets are ranked 9th (England), 31st (Algeria) and 33rd (Slovenia).
