[WPS] Saint Louis Athletica, which traded several players to the Atlanta Beat to gain the first pick in Women's Professional Soccer's dispersal draft of Sol players, used its selection to draft U.S. international Shannon Boxx. With the second selection, the Philadelphia Independence picked goalkeeper Karina LeBlanc, while FIFA Player of the Year Marta, the 2009 WPS Player of the Year, was taken by FC Gold Pride with the third pick.
