[U.S. SOCCER] WPS Commissioner Tonya Antonucciand newly elected USASA President Richard Groff were elected as new members of U.S. Soccer’s Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting in New Orleans.

Richard Groff and Tonya Antonucci were elected as new members of U.S. Soccer’s Board of Directors.

Antonucci replaced D.C. United President Kevin Payne, while Groff replaced outgoing USASA President Brooks McCormick.

The Athlete Council voted to approve Danielle Fotopoulos and Jeff Agoos as the new athlete representatives on the Board of Directors, replacing Peter Vermes and Amanda Cromwell.

Dr. Donna Shalala was re-elected as an Independent Director to the Board of Directors.

Both Gerhard Mengeland Stephen Flamhaftwere voted as life members by the National Council.
