[MLS PRESEASON] Most college teams have been routed by MLS teams in preseason action, but UCF battled to a 1-1 tie with Toronto FC in a 80-minute match played Thursday. The Knights came within a minute of pulling out a win.

Knights used a penalty kick from junior Yaron Bacher in the 57th minute to earn the draw.
 
In the last minute of the game, Toronto FC's Dan Gargan headed in the equalizer.

For UCF, the match was the first of seven scheduled for this spring.

UCF will return to action Friday against FC Dallas at 7 p.m. at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
