[U.S. UNDER-17 NATIONAL TEAM] Kellen Gulley of the Mississippi Chicago Fire scored twice to give the U.S. under-17national team a 4-1 win over Mexico’s U-17s in the opening game of a doubleheader with the USA-El Salvador international friendly Wednesday in Tampa. Californians Alejandro Guido and Marc Pelosi also scored the USA.

Mexico which will host the 2011 Under-17 World Cup, had two players — Enrique Flores and Antonio Briseno — red-carded late in the game.
