Gulley leads Yanks to big win over Mexico

[U.S. UNDER-17 NATIONAL TEAM] Kellen Gulley of the Mississippi Chicago Fire scored twice to give the U.S. under-17 national team a 4-1 win over Mexico's U-17s in the opening game of a doubleheader with the USA-El Salvador international friendly Wednesday in Tampa. Californians Alejandro Guido and Marc Pelosi also scored the USA.

Mexico which will host the 2011 Under-17 World Cup, had two players -- Enrique Flores and Antonio Briseno -- red-carded late in the game.

USA 4 Mexico 1. Goals: Gulley 25, 54, Guido 39, Pelosi 70; Espericueta 51.
USA -- Hamilton (McIntosh, 46), Souders, Lennon, Fender, Oliver, Pelosi, Gulley (Rodriguez, 64), Salkicic (Amon, 84), Acosta (Smith, 15), Okada (E.Rodriguez), Guido (Najem, 48).

    Let's see, the U.S wins 1-0 by scoring 4 goals to 1 for Mexico. Is this new the math we heard about?
