In one corner, there's Brad Friedel: the Aston Villa starting goalie, 38 years old, winner of the English League in 2002 with Blackburn. In the corner, there's Friedel's backup, fellow American Brad Guzan, only 25 but the starter in every round of the League Cup.

Guzan has been a huge factor in Villa's march to the final, but James Nursey says Villa manager Martin O'Neill should drop Guzan for the final against Manchester United on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.

Guzan is a future EPL star, but the more experienced choice of Friedel is the right option for Su nday. Friedel has been in excellent form all season and may be the best Premier League keeper over the last decade.
