After Bridge's Manchester City beat Terry's Chelsea, 4-2, on Saturday, Bridge's teammate Craig Bellamy remarked, “I know what John Terry is like and nothing surprises me about him. I think everybody in football knows what the guy’s like off the field.” Unlike Bridge, who refused to shake Terry's hand in the pre-game introductions, Bellamy shook his hand but refused look at the Chelsea star.

Meanwhile, England coach Fabio Capello said Terry should not expect to regain his captaincy any time soon.  “As long as I am England manager," the Italian said, "I don’t think John Terry will be captain again. I expect my captain to be responsible to children and for the fans. I told him all of this.”
