[RUTGERS MEN] Charlie Inverso, who won five NJCAA national championships at Mercer County Community College, has joined the coaching staff of new Rutgers men's head coach Dan Donigan.

Inverso recently completed a 24-year stint at Mercer.
 
“Charlie has an amazing background in the game,” said Donigan. “His reputation, knowledge, contacts and professional attitude will be invaluable to our program.  I am thrilled to have Charlie on board with Rutgers.  He has been a leader in the game of soccer for many years and it will be a huge benefit to our team to lean on him for his expertise."
 
Inverso was inducted into NJCAA Hall of Fame in 2006.
