U.S. midfielder Clint Dempsey's recovery from knee ligament damage appears to be right on schedule. Dempsey, who suffered the injury while playing for Fulham against Blackburn on Jan. 17, had predicted he would return in mid-March. He reportedly accompanied the team to Torino, Italy, for Fulham's Europa League match against Juventus on Thursday. Although he won't play, Luke Cyphers speculates that his presence on the team plane indicates that his rehab is progressing well.
