[DALLAS CUP] The USA evened its record in Super Group play at Dallas Cup XXXI with a 1-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps academy team.

Moises Orozco of Mexican club Tigres scored the lone goal in the first minute of the game by heading home a cross from San Diego State right winger Jose Altamirano.

For the second game in a row, the USA had a player sent off. In the 40th minute, Boston College goalkeeper Justin Luthy was ejected for a challenge just outside the penalty area.

The USA will round out group play on Wednesday against Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt.

The three other U.S. entrants -- FC Dallas, Dallas Texans and CZ Elite -- are 0-6.
