[CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] Visiting Pachuca held Toluca to a 1-1 tie Tuesday in in the first leg of the Concacaf Champions League semifinals. The homestanding Red Devils had two players sent off -- Miguel Almazan and Diego Navaretti -- and one of seven yellow cards went to Pachuca's American Jose Francisco Torres (for time wasting).

The first red card to Alamzan was handed out in the 79th minute, a minute after Edgar Duenas equalized for Toluca. Navaretti was ejected three minutes later.

Pachuca had taken the lead on Argentine Dario Cvitanich's goal in the 34th minute. It hosts the second leg on April 7.

UNAM plays Cruz Azul in the first leg of the all-Mexico City semifinals on Wednesday.
