[WORLD CUP COUNTDOWN] Ten players from Greek champion Panathinaikos, including young star Sotiris Ninis, were among the 30 players German coach Otto Rehhagel named to Greece's provisional roster for the World Cup.

Thanassis Prittas, who played with Americans Eddie Johnson and Freddy Adu at Aris, got his first national team callup at the age of 31.
 
Twenty-five players will travel to Greece’s training camp in Switzerland.
