[SERBIA] Neven Subotic, who played for the USA at the 2005 Under-17 World Cup before deciding to play for Serbia, was named to Coach Radomir Antic's initial selection of 30 players for the World Cup.

After graduating from the U.S. U-17 residency program, Subotic joined German club Mainz and has since moved on to Borussia Dortmund.

The Serbian squad is headed by Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic and Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.

Antic must cut down the team to 23 players by June 1.

Serbia Roster:
Goalkeepers: Vladimir Stojkovic (Wigan), Zeljko Brkic (Vojvodina Novi Sad), Bojan Isailovic (Zagleb Lubin), Andjelko Djuricic (Uniao Leiria).
Defenders: Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea), Antonio Rukavina (Munich 1860), Nemanja Vidic (Man. United), Neven Subotic (Bor. Dortmund), Aleksandar Lukovic (Udinese), Ivan Obradovic (Real Zaragoza), Aleksandar Kolarov (Lazio).
Midfielders: Dejan Stankovic (Inter Milan), Nenad Milijas (Wolves), Milos Krasic (CSKA Moscow), Milan Jovanovic (Standard Liege), Milos Ninkovic (Dynamo Kiev), Zdravko Kuzmanovic (VfB Stuttgart), Zoran Tosic (FC Cologne), Miralem Sulejmani (Ajax), Gojko Kacar (Hertha Berlin), Nemanja Matic (Chelsea), Radosav Petrovic (Partizan).
