[D-2 PRO LEAGUE] The Austin Aztex got a hat trick from former UCLA star Maxwell Griffin and defeated Miami FC, 3-1, to improve their record to a league-best 8-2-3.

Griffin broke a 1-1 tie with a pair of goals in the last half hour.

They followed a confrontation between Aztex midfielder Sullivan Silva and Miami midfielder Sean Cameron, who were both red carded.
