Even though the USA is out of the World Cup, Landon Donovan isn't out of the spotlight.
"[I'm] trying to stay in front of peoples' eyes," he said after stopping off in New York before returning to the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Donovan spoke on Tuesday at a forum for the National Conference on Volunteering and Service and appeared on CBS's "Late Show"with David Letterman, who grilled him about refereeing and instant replay.
"You got to take advantage when the opportunity's here," Donovan said. "As soccer players, we have an obligation to grow the sport."
