Former West Ham and Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole has ended speculation as to his next club. Cole, 28, on Monday chose Liverpool over Arsenal and several other possible destinations to sign a four-year deal that will become official pending the outcome of a medical exam.
He is the second major Liverpool signing since former Fulham manager Roy Hodgson took over from Rafael Benitez. Serbian winger Milan Jovanovic joined Liverpool as a free agent two weeks ago after his contract with Standard Liege expired.
