[NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS] Two Sting and two Eclipse Select teams were among six girls teams to clinch berths in the finals after Day 2 at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships in Overland Park, Kan.

Eclipse Select, the defending champion in its age group, will meet Laguna Hills Eclipse White in the U-18 final, while its U-19 team, national champion four years ago, also moved into the championship game in its age group.

Sting will face Scorpions Elite in the U-15 final, while its U-14 team also moved on with two wins in two games.

The U-15 Sting has won both its games by 7-0 margins.

The Scorpions' McKenzie Meehan scored both goals in their 2-0 win over J.B. Marine to give her six goals in two games.

Two girls had hat tricks on Day 2:

-- Jennifer Hoy for the defending champion FC Bucks Vipers in their 5-1 win over the South Alameda County Northstars in U-19 play.

-- Kim Allard
for Laguna Hills Eclipse White in its 5-1 win over AFC Lightning.
