Former Brazilian national team coach and World Cup goalkeeper Emerson Leao, now boss of Goias, scuffled with a sideline reporter after a 2-2 tie against Vitoria. Leao approached the Vitoria coach to argue about Vitoria's game-tying goal in the 89th minute. After several radio reporters tried to listen, the fight began.

Three of Leao's players went after the reporter and one got a few punches in after Leao was pushed away from the brawl. Leao and Goias striker Rafael Moura were taken to a police station for questioning.

Leao was Brazil's goalkeeper at the 1974 and 1978 World Cups and coached Brazil in 2000-01
