[NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS] The So Cal Blues advanced to Sunday's final in arguably the deepest girls age group at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships in Overland Park, Kan., when they won their third game with a 2-1 win over Texas power D’Feeters.

The Blues, 2008 National Championships finalists and 2010 National League champions, got goals from Lauren Bohaboy and Haley Rosen.

In the final, they will meet Syosset Sting Elite, which they beat, 2-1, earlier in the week.

The U-17 group also featured So Cal powers Slammers FC and Real So Cal.

The only other So Cal finalist is Laguna Hills Eclipse in the U-18 division.

North Texas leads all teams with three finalists, though the Dallas Texans, the top-ranked girls team in the Soccer America  annual rankings and winner of six national championships over the previous four years, won't have a team in the final.
